I was in lab, but as a student as part of a college class, and I think our group was supposed to demonstrate something, but I don’t remember now. I was looking for my phone, when my friend reminded me that I accidentally left it with a guy who was helping me move boxes of papers (or maybe masks) across town. The problem is that he was on the other side of town, so I’d have to go meet him there. I was annoyed.

Next thing I know, I’m walking back to campus with my phone, but I’m way up on top of the trees. Actually, they were more like very tall bushes, very dense and regular. I was up there to avoid the traffic below, as it was a big road – probably supposed to be Lake Shore Drive – and there was no sidewalk. So I walked along almost at the top of the trees, holding on to the actual top. I was thinking that I was putting my hands where no one else ever had before. I was going pretty steadily, but I was also worried about falling. After what seemed like forever, I finally saw a clearing with a sidewalk, and by then the trees were fairly low so I dropped down without a problem.

To get back into campus, I could see like in a video game that there was a barrier all the way around except for a gate far off – I was lazy, so I wanted to see if I could vault the barrier closer to where I wanted to go. It looked like a Lego video game, and the part of barrier was a castle, and I could see legomen fighting each other with lego swords. There was an overlay with which buttons I should press where, and so I was able to get the timing right and jump up onto the crenellations and over to the quad.

At that point, it was lunchtime, and I realized I could teleport to whichever cafeteria I wanted by using the overhead map and clicking on the waypoints. I could see like an ad playing on an overlay, showing what foods were available at each cafeteria. I picked the one with BBQ… I think they had BBQ every day. Anyway, I got a plate of what looked like bacon cooked like burnt ends, but there were only a few small pieces and my friends took all but one. I tried it, and it tasted really good! Salty and smoky. I had another plate with bits of pork rib meat (like in dim sum, but cooked BBQ style) and some less smoky-looking bacon pieces. I was excited, but then they were all completely tasteless. I tried a few more pieces but only felt disappointed. Oh well, at least I got to taste something nice in my dream for once!
