I was upset that "Jessie" broke up with me over text, so I went to the computer to reminisce about our time dating by going back to the dating website we met on. I couldn't remember the site though, and kept wracking my brains and trying different domains. Finally I remembered it was match.com. But then that triggered my memory to think: wait I minute, haven't I been married to Merry for over 10 years? Then this must be a dream.

Later I was getting texts from my friend, who turned out to be the "unnecessary inventions" guy from TikTok. He was excited to have me come to the outdoor amusement park where he was on a skydiving simulator. It spun around at high speeds and threw you forward toward a big sand bank, and you can deploy your parachute. He told me to get on, it was 2 to a bench-type seat, but I was nervous since I didn't get any training. He said the next was slower with no parachute, so I got on. This time we were over a big sand pit shaped like a funnel, and as we spun slowly around like the teacup ride at Disneyland with other cups, people started falling into the sand pit and rolling around. It wasn't too fun.

As we were preparing for the second parachuted round and they were announcing the instructions, I got a text from Merry and was texting back and forth, as she was on her way there. Since I missed the instructions, I told the inventions guy that I didn't feel safe getting on and that Merry was going to get here soon anyway. He looked so disappointed, I felt really bad, but thanked him and walked off to meet Merry and her friend.

By then the ride was inside a mall, and I found Merry and her friend waiting by a big silvery glass room in the middle of the walkway, very futuristic looking. There rows of benches and they were going to put on some kind of demonstration. I think it was Tesla. I sat down and watched with them, but I don't remember what it was about or what happened anymore.

Afterward, I told Merry that I would meet her at the car she parked in front of Sears, and I took off for a nearby exit. I wanted to surprise her that I knew a shortcut. I got out into the parking lot, and it was raining and a bit icy outside. I started skating around on my shoes over the ice and water, and I was going really fast and fancy like a real ice skater. It was exhilarating! I knew then that it was a dream, but I didn't care. It felt real and I wanted it to last. But at the same time, I was realizing that I had gone the wrong way, even though I could see the map as sort of a transparent overlay. I had to go a really long way around to get to Sears. But because I knew it was a dream, I said, I bet no matter how far I go, I'll never get there. So I gave up, because I already reached Sears, but it was the wrong entrance and I knew the Sears was going to be impossibly big.

So I went back inside the mall. I could see that the benches in fancy glass room had been replaced with rows of chairs facing perpendicular to the way the benches had, and I was shocked how quickly they had been able to change them out. I walked over to a different fancy room and sat down at a bench for lunch, meeting two people sitting across from me. One of them was a small Asian girl who had been on TV, and I slowly remembered that she had gotten fairly famous, I think for a MasterChef-type show. As she talked, I was so surprised because she was rather quiet and shy-seeming, but I saw clips of her on TV in my head and she was loud and lively. She mentioned that she had been on "Mr. Show does Japan", and I was starstruck that she had worked with Bob Odenkirk.

It turned out to be a Korean restaurant, and the three people in front of me including the girl had all gotten the dish of rice cakes, which were big and green, with rice and vegetables. My bowl came and I was disappointed that I had only ordered bulgolgi, as I was hoping for something more exotic, plus it was a bit sparse. But then I saw there was a plate full of cooked cabbage for each person, and I got excited because it was going to be different. I poured the cabbage into the bulgolgi and mixed it around - it was still rather a small amount of food, but better than before. Naturally, I woke up before I could eat any.
